Often times we question our worth based on the actions of others and/or their opinions of us. Although I am fairly confident in many aspects of my life, I often question what is my worth? Is there an actual numerical value that is associated with who I am? All questions I can not really answer yet I'm seeking something to define my worth.
Well what I do know is that it's not in a man. Took me awhile to figure that out I must readily admit! I often feel like there is so much more I could be doing. I want so many things and my patience is somewhat limited when I think of what I want to attain...how to get there...and hell why isn't it hurrying up to get me to where I want to be!!?? I get in this self pity funk!
Not a depression but a funk because yes I'm an overachiever who thrives on chaos that help build me....not bring drama.
I get comments all the time from both men and women who tell me I'm beautiful. I'm smart. I'm a good woman. I have a big heart. All those things are wonderful and true I must say...lol...but it doesn't define my worth. I can be many things in many areas because I'm built like that. I'm truly someone that can adjust and survive the storm no matter what. Which is both a blessing and a curse.
Back to my worth...Your worth...Our worth! How do you ascertain what that truly is? Some people find worth in material things. Some find it in beauty. Some find it in stepping out on faith. Some find it in not doing anything. How do you find it?
2019 got here pretty damn fast! So with that said, time is moving and in order to maximize on what we want in life, we must identify our worth. I'm worthy of all things meant for me in my destiny. Nothing more nothing less will I ask for; however I will ask for an overflow so that anything dripping from the pot will help build someone else.
