Anytime a superhero has a super power of invisibility, they activate that in order to yessssss become invisible! Many of us wish that we had that power from time to time just to get a break from life. Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays are done, everyone let's just take a deep breath! Activate your invisibility shield and regroup yourselves.
Family, friends, loved ones all had your undivided attention those past few days, weeks or even months because you wanted to make sure that they were happy. My children ask every year what I want for Christmas. Truth be told, I never want anything material from them. I only want for them to be happy and us all to be together. That makes me happy! Now that they are older and have families of their own, I never really know how they are spending the Christmas holiday or any holiday truth be told. It's my favorite time of the year.....well let's face it outside of my own birthday...boom! Just in case the universe forgot to tell you....it's August 14th!! Whew...glad we cleared that up!
For the past 3 years, I didn't know how the holidays would go because I've never spent one without my kids and my husband. Year one was R.O.U.G.H! Honey you could've poured me in a cup. There was hostility and sadness yet we pushed through faking it until we made it. "We" is set apart for the ex and I. Year two....uhhhh keep letting that cup overflow because again I was a hot mess and more pouring happened. I wanted to not only turn on my invisible shield, but keep it on FOREVER! Babbbbyyyy year three found it's way here....y'all better get y'all lives! Honey I was back in the game and gave absolutely zero fucks! I had my kids, my happiness and theirs which pulled me through from year two! We were cordial and for the most part get along....from as far as I can tell.....now that things are done. A few loose ends here and there need to happen so we are "done done"...but I became visible again!
There will be a time or two, hell or 100, that you will need to activate your invisible shield in order to realign. That's ok! Step away, do you, get some clarity, direction and calmness back into your life. No one can take your shine away so when you reactivate....blind the hell out of them! You were not created to remain invisible! That's a super power needed for specific reasons.....so turn your light back on and #findyourhappy!
When you're invisibility becomes visible, you're a beast to be reckoned with!
